I just ordered every aluminum part for my stampede, except the braces and skids. I've had aluminum skids before and I scratch the crap out of them. So I decided to opt out of them, but what I am wondering is if I should have got them, because I have to slightly bend my plastic ones a bit to get it to fit right with the super chassis and al. bulkhead. Are the aluminum braces and skids a different size than the plastic ones? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

You are doing it correct.
The plastic braces work with our chassis but they will be bent.
However our aluminum braces were designed around our chassis.

As for the skid situation. You do not need the front skid. So I would run the plastic up front and aluminum on the rest.

I am having a hell of a time with this thing. I read the post and continued building, but I guess I got sent the wrong length screws with my tranny case? There are 4 screws in the case that are recessed, and the screws that came with the kit, aren't even close to touching the other threaded side of the transmission. It's as tight as it can get together, I am not sure what to do... Also, I got shorted 2 c-clips for my hinge pins. Everything is made very well, but I just keep running out of screws and clips to hold it all together.
