| I purchased this product but have a few questions/issues with it. While its listed in the Ruster section mine didn't include the proper turnbuckles for steering only ones that look used for the Stampede. I am also having binding issues with the rear arms using the stock drive shafts, it binds near the ball joint on closest to the wheel unless the arm is level any higher and it binds. I've removed the inner fiber washer in an attempt to move it out more but it still binds at this point I'm not sure what else to do to make it not bind with the stock driveshafts. Any help would be appreacated.

I had to get custom turnbuckles, Lunfords. And as far as your axle binding, what is it binding on? The arm itself or the brace? A picture will help!

After trying to adjust the turnbuckles that came with the kit a couple of times I gave up and ordered all Lunfords as well. I took a picture but I can't see any way to attach it. It rubs on the arms, the brace is mounted on the bottom and is completely clear of the shaft. Since I can't add a picture I tried giving a diagram below. |-------|<------ Drive Shaft Outer Dia. | |<----- Binds here where the shaft hits the cutout ---\ /--- closest to the tire | \-----/ | --------------- The cutout seems deep enough just not wide enough. Though I can't be sure till I can get the drive shaft past that area where it binds. Right now I'm running it at level or a hair below level but it still binds everytime the arm moves beyond that. I'm evenally going to want to raise it up somewhat and as it is I can't. Plus I've noticed my motor gets hotter, runs times have decreased a little and I've lost the diff action due to the friction area.

| ok, the diagram didn't work. It removed all the extra spaces. Hopefully my better description has cleared up the problem I've been having.

Do you have the pin in your carrier in the bottom hole or the top hole? I had to put mine in the bottom hole to raise the carrier up some. Also if you get FLM's dogbones it will give you a little more clearance.

Im refering to the 2 holes in the bottom of the carriers in this pic. In this picture they have it mounted in the top hole.

| I checked the image, and yes I do it have it set on the top hole that was the one they used on the factory setup. I switched from the 2.8" traxxas wheels to the standard 2.2 rims do you know if it causes any binding or other issues if I use the other hole with the 2.2" rims?

I also run some 2.2 on my Pede, and I have the pin on the bottom hole. No problems!!

| One thing you will need to do is swap the big end of the axle with the smaller end. You want the smaller end at the wheel for clearance otherwise they will bind.

Admin: I assume you mean using the female end (larger dia.) on the transmission side and male (smaller dia.) on the drive shaft side, I have been running it that way since I installed the arms, which is the reverse of how they came nstalled from the factory. It has chewed a noticeable amount of the shaft but still binded alot, so I did what Chopndroptx suggested and moved it to the 2nd hole and havn't had a problem since. BTW thanks Chopndroptx for the tip.

Ya they mean flip the axles basicly so the female side is on the trany side. But just moving the carrier up works fine, and its easier! Your welcome!!!!
