I am installing the extended arm conversion for the Electric Rustler. I have them on, all is good, except.... the drive axles are now 2 short.
Is there a product / solution out there for this. Seems like the "kit" should come with it if you need it to make it work.
Help please. I need a solution. I now have a wide stance rusty, with no way to get power to the wheels.
BTW... I'm a relative newb. Only been at this a few months and this is the first big upgrade. Did the FLM chasis, front and rear shock towers and the extended arm conversion. All of the other parts were great. The extended arms have left me short. Any advice?

Hello JHautz,
If you are using the stock slider shafts you'd should be having this problem. Make sure to pull the slider out some. they do slide back and fourth.
If you have CVD's then yes they are to short. So far we haven't really found a fix as nonone really wants to go buying cvd's to see what works and what doesn't.
FLM is working on a solution however. Jamie (owner) is working on a Dogbone style axle similar to a savage that will work with the extended arms. I believe its just a matter of time before they are released.
In the meantime. If you need stock replacements they are $5.79 at towerhobbies. here is a direct link http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJJ82&P=7

I believe this is the fella I talked with over the phone. He bought his truck off e-bay, and from the conversation. We came to the conclusion he did not have stock length arms on his truck. They were shorter than a Nitro arm. So we believe someone modified it with a shorter Traxxas arm.
So stock axles will work fine.
We will be releasing dog bones for the Rustler and Stampede to fit any arm combo available.
