Hello, I am on the hunt for new tvp's and basically everything else for my destroyed savage. I have some questions about the new lowered stock length tvp. I want to get the tvp set, servo plate set and the skid plate. Now, will everything stock on my truck work? I think it's a neat idea that you can use buggy style gas tanks and have other servo mounting locations, but I am not really conerened about doing all of that for now. I would like to have a LCG chassis, but for now I just want to use all my stock parts. Also there is a huge demand for parts for the Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium trucks as well. I can't tell you everything off the top of my head right now, but if you go to hotbodiesforum.com you will see the big demand for some of the parts. I think your stuff is great and would like to know if my stock parts will work with the new tvp, servo plate and skid plate. Sincerely, Bigred.

Well you have come to the right place. Our TVPs have more options than any other TVP out there and we stand behind every part we make. The lowered stock length TVP has one drawback and that is the stock motor plate interferes with the drive cup. So just a small section needs to be removed for clearance. We are working towards releasing a motor plate that would be one solid piece to provide clearence for the drive cup. But it will be an option part that will work with all TVPs. The Extended lowered TVPs are a direct bolt on. Since the TVPs are extended there is no interference with the drive cup. All of your stock parts will bolt directly in. Hot Bodies Lightining Stadium? Have not had anyone else ask about it, but it is a thought.

Thank you so much for replying back and please excuse me for all the questions. Ever since I saw some of your stuff on a T-Maxx at True Hobbies I knew your parts were of high quality and very inovative. Then I was reading on Savage Central about you and then found your site : ) Thank you sincerly for your Savage Parts and on top of that. You are out of Missouri so I got to support so. <lol> do I get a discount for those brownie points? just kidding : ) My questions this time is. How much and how hard is it to remove the material from the stock engine plate? Will there be instructions? Also, I may be crazy to some but if you put a buggy style tank on top of your new servo tray then where does all the electronics and battery go? I don't care to go that route right now, but I am curious. Just using your servo tray will it be the same as it is now. Battery and electronics go in the same place and only using the top of the battery box? I want your tvp mainly for bashing, but I do enter a race or two with my truck and thats why I like the idea of lowered tvp's. If I go with the extended lowered tvp's what will that do to my truck? I imagine that I will have to get a longer and bigger body as well won't I. In anycase I am getting either tvp set plus the other parts. I am just trying to get all the info I can so I can make the right choice and the last question I have. Seriously this is the last one I promise : ) Will my tank guard fit as well? Thanks, Bigred

Me Again, The Hot Bodies Stadium severely needs a front chassis brace. The rear can use some work as well. King Headz makes some parts, but we know that you can make them better. Hot Bodies has all aluminum arms and things on the pro version. The only problem is. Parts are just hard to get period and they are expremelly expensive. One biggie that most of us are breaking right off the bat is the shock ends. The way we can fix this is to buy aluminum shock ends from Racers Edge and even then you have to do some modification so they will work. This truck is a hot seller and is what I race most of the time. There are lots of us that needs better, cheaper and easier to get parts. I will go to their forum and spread the word about you and maybe you will hear from some of them and what could be done for this truck if there would be enough business. Bigred

| There is great need for Hot Bodies Stadium parts, Front Lower Suspension Holder, Steering Ackerman, Rear Toe-In Plate, Front Suspension Plate, Rear Arm Mounts and front and rear chassis braces. And as for the savage I'm waiting for the bulkless diff cases to come out.

To remove the material is very simple, provided you have a dremel tool. Or anything along those lines. You only need to remove about .25 x .125 section. In order to put the buggy tank on the servo plate you must first relocate one of your servos (throttle or steering), in the holes machined in the TVPs. All you need to mount any of your servos to the TVPs is our Servo Mounts. This will give you room for the tank. For the electronics: there is several things you could do. I secured mine with zip ties, but I am constantly changing parts for testing. But they held in place rather well. The Extended TVPs work really well at keeping the front wheels on the ground. Everyone that I talked to about them said it was a totally different truck after installing them (in a good way). You may need a longer body? I was able to use my stock one. I just relocated the holes at the rear. It looks fine to me but it doesnt look perfect. For tank guard: I dont know? All I can say is if it fit the stock TVPs it should fit ours.

As for the Hot Bodies truck. We would be happy to make parts for it, if we thought we could sell them. I will do some checking around, and see how the market is towards it. Although I can easily be persuaded. So if we get some demands for them, that would push us closer to making them.

IMO I would skip the HB Lightning and focus on the new Jammin CRT. The Jammin just came into the racing market and people are buying them as fast as they can. If you could pick on of those up and begin to make aftermarket parts you'll for sure that they have a great market. You already are hitting the bashing scene pretty hard and if you could make some great parts out for a truck such as the jammin you'll begin to get noticed alot more! It just came out and the sooner you get parts the better it'll be!

Hi and thanks for all questions answered. The jammin is a awesome truck, but so is the Hot Bodies Stadium Lightning. Everybody was talking about the Lightning and getting one when it first came out. First you saw the SUT at the track and then everybody that didn't turn thier buggys into truggys was mainly running the lightning. Now the Ofna Jammin Truggy is the one thats being talked about. The lightning or the Jammin truck are supurb truggies. They are the only one's that come straight from the factory with longer arms, etc that is a purpose built truggy. Truggies are getting to be a big market period. Truggy or not keep on keeping on with the savage parts as no truck will ever replace my Savage. Bigred.

Jamie another truck that needs some hop-up parts considering no one has produced any yet is the Losi Mini LST.

admin, I saw in the news section you are working on a set of tvp that are lowered .750". Are these available yet? If not when do you think these would be available? Also, another idea would be to offer a set of tvp that would have the front bulk head mounts raked back for more caster? I plan to make a set of my own within the next month so I'll let you know if it makes a difference. Ed
