Hi,

Good luck on getting a response on this forum it's practically DEAD in here!

I had wrote a similar question to yours awhile back and never got any type of response from FLM or anyone else.

I also had bought the T/E Maxx LST Shock conversion for my E-Maxx but it will not fit unless I Hack-Up my parts like you had mentioned with your RPM A-Arms. It appears that that is the only way that you will get the LST Conversion to fit. FLM assured me before I made my purchase that the LST conversion would fit directly to my stock parts without the need to Cut/Modify any parts!

I can't believe how FLM is selling the LST Shock Conversion for T/E Maxx when they haven't even tested it to see if it mounts/works correctly before putting the parts on the market? Let alone the parts didn't even come with illustration instructions or images of the conversion?

I do think that the LST and LST2 shocks are similar in size.

Anyhow best of luck with your conversion!

This conversion isn't initially meant for the maxx, it was meant for the Savage;

There is a user on RC-monster who succeeded in mounting these LST shocks on a maxx though, but he needed to cut a piece of his upper-arm.

The problem is that the upper arm of an e-maxx is made differently than the one for a savage (with the savage, it's one thin long arm, and with the maxx the intention is to put the shocks through the upper arms. Hope this helps.

Sorry for the late reply.
