bodies- proline make 2 for a ext chassis one is a f150 and the other i think is a caddilac suv.
Rollbar- rc raven use to make a ext RB but it is out of production.
There is a guy that makes a sweey roll bar for the thunder chassis but i have not seen if it will fit the FLM bolt pattern.

If you sent us your roll cage I am sure there would be a simple solution to get it to work. Maybe even add the provisions to make a certain one or two roll cages work on our chassis.
Who has a roll cage for an extended chassis? Which one is best?
We like to build as many features as possible into our products so if there is feedback we can get on this the better off we all will be.
Thanks.

rc raven use to make a 21 chassis both in steel and titanium now out of production. steels are too heavy in a full cage.
I have a standard maxx size if wanting to see i can send to FLM.
cowboy creations also has/had one but bad mounting and cheap.
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/hironimus/ is best but not sure of mouting holes on flm chassis.
Also adm. email me with other findings on 21 chassis that i can give tried and tested info help with. Thanks

I made a hironimus style for my EXT frame when I had the O.S. 18CVRX on it but havent gotten around to making a new one to fit my big block engine.
Fastlane should make one from scratch to fit the chassis. Most of the Ebay cages I see offer no engine protection. I think RC solutions has one of the best full cages I have seen.

Hello all
I’m sorry for not replying earlier but had to wait to get new mb and cpu . any ways the roll cage I had was a r/c solution and it was made to fit the regular chassis and I contacted them to see if they made one that would fit your ext chassis and they said no. so I run it with out a roll cage but I rather have one.
Buzzsaw46 thx for info I checked out and would rather have a full cage.

I really dont care for how that VG cage mounts, takes all the impact absorbtion out of the bumper mounts. That and the fact that the engine is out in the open yet kill the utillity of the VG. Looking closer at the pic I would have to cut the front end off my LP GMC body for the cage to extend out to the front bumper, bet that would look nice
We need an FLM Cage designed for our chassis that protects the engine and gives support to the body without interfering with the bumper operation, is that too much to ask for?

Looking at the hironimus bar leaves me feeling that the engine is still unprotected from the rear.
Here is a pic of the one I made for my small block engine. http://home.centurytel.net/jason165/DSC02233.JPG
